Institute of Management’s Annual Event ‘The Flames- 2015’ was organized on 10,11 & 12 February 2015. All the events were divided under Sports, Academics & Cultural Categories. Laikari was the theme for the year 2015.
The inauguration of the Sports was done by Hon. Treasurer AISSMS Shri. Ajay Patil. It was marked by various indoor and outdoor games. Under indoor games Chess, Carom was organized. Under outdoor categories, Cricket boys &Girls Football, Volleyball & Tug of War was organized. The sports for staff & faculty was also there. The student participated with high energy and competitive spirit.
On 11th Feb the Academic Events were organized to challenge the academic as well as business acumen of the students. Interesting events organized under this gateway were Business quiz, Treasure hunt, Mad-ads, Logo quiz etc.
The cultural day on 12 Feb was the most sought after. The students enthusiastically participated in the face painting and Rangoli competition which was organized in the first half of the day. The cultural evening was the most awaited both by the performers and the audiences.
The main highlights were the singing both solo and duet & dance competition again solo and duet. Shri. Sunil Godse eminent personality from Marathi cinema was the chief guest for the day welcomed by Shri. Malojiraje Chattrapati, Hon. Secretary AISSMS, Shri Ratnakar Jitkar Hon. Joint Secretary AISSMS, Mr. Denver Alumni of the college.
Shri. Malojiraje Chattrapati, Hon. Secretary AISSMS addressed the gathering guiding the students to be more focused. He assured that AISSMS Management’s supports all the college endeavors for providing quality education and shall be doing so in the future also.
The first edition of the magazine “FLAMES” was released at the hand of Shri. Malojiraje Chattrapati, Hon. Secretary AISSMS. He congratulated the faculty and students editorial board. Mr Sunil Godse briefed the students on various aspects and minutest details that should be kept in mind while performing. This was followed by the prize distribution in various categories of the events &dinner. The students participated and enjoyed with all enthusiasm, zest and vigor.
