Traditional Day was celebrated on “14 January 2016”, it was an opportunity to represent Indian culture. The program started enthusiastically with “Granth Dindi” Many students coming from different regions of our country took active part in this event.
The whole team was in different Indian outfits. The event was an effort to contribute to remember our culture and celebrate the event with great enthusiasm and gusto. The Students wore a kurta and dhoti in Bangla style, the Maharashtrian’s wore saree and accessories in a particular Maharashtrian style and so on, which represent Indian tradition form different states.
This was followed by cultural and entertainment program. Finally Sayali Mandlecha who exemplified the Rajasthani culture and “Me Marathi” Group who showcased the culture of Maharashtra were declared the First winners in individual & Group performance.
The event was cherished by” Launch of the News Letter –Volume -2” of AISSMS IOM and the prize distribution for Business Standard Quiz competition. The foot-tapping traditional Non- Stop Baila brought the entire crowd to the dance floor.
