Students of AISSMS Institute of Management celebrated the Traditional Day to promote “UNITY IN DIVERSITY“ on 12th January 2018.

“Wearing the Correct dress for any occasion is a matter of good manners” Students of AISSMS IOM followed this quote on Traditional Day. The students came fully clad in their traditional dress. Their attire looked simply amazing as they collectively displayed an array of colors that reflected the diversity of India. Besides dress, students also exhibited the food, dance, language, culture, famous personalities etc through exhibition and performance of their zone.

Exhibition was inaugurated with lightening of the lamp by Shri Suresh Shinde, Honorary Joint Secretary, AISSMS, Director Dr Sanjay Patankar and other Faculty members. Exhibition comprised of East, West, North and South Zone. Each zone displayed their food, dance, language, culture, famous personalities etc.

Event was inaugurated with lightening of lamp and Saraswati poojan by Shri Suresh Shinde, Honorary Joint Secretary, AISSMS, Director Dr Sanjay Patankar and other Faculty members. Director addressed the gathering and explains the richness of Indian Culture and tradition. Chief Guest, Shri Suresh Shinde addressed the gathering by motivational speech. Each zone exhibited their culture, language, dance etc through presentation and performance.

Program then continued with individual performance. Students had a blast showing their talents on the stage which included ramp walk, dances and skits. Inner creativity and potentialities were driven through this traditional competition.

Result for team event is West Zone MBA I Div C was winner and North Zone MBA II was runner up. In individual category Kunal Patil from MBA I Div C was winner, Fabian Raje from MBA II was Runner up and Simran Gaikwad from MBA I Div A was second runner up. Prizes were given by Director.

Traditional Day was celebrated with great gusto and enthusiasm. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks and National Anthem of India.
