On 2nd, 12th & 15th of February 2016 AISSMS, Institute Of Management celebrated their annual event of “FLAMES” which includes Sports Day, Academic Events and Cultural Events with full of enthusiasm & joy. This year the theme of FLAMES was based on “YUGAM- Management through Mythology”.

On the first day of FLAMES, 2nd February all students & faculties enjoyed the sports activities for the entire day. The students participated in both indoor & outdoor games. The most awaited sport is cricket in which the students and staff members enjoy a lot. The cricket matches were held between boys (first & second year) and other match was between girls (first & second year). In cricket students gave a tough fight in which second year boys won the match and in girls first year students were the winner. In the later on session’s football and volleyball matches were played. In which first year students won the football match and the second year students won the volleyball match. Sports like Tug of War added big fun among all students. Apart from the outdoor games, indoor games like Chess & carom were also played in college premises with full participation & support. These all sports activities were enjoyed by the players and as well as the audience.

On 12th February, 2016 academic events like extempore, role play, face painting, mad ads, business quiz and poster competition activities were conducted. These all events were also enjoyed by the students.

The most awaited event of FLAMES is the cultural event which was on 15th February, it included the performances based on the theme of “YUGAM – MANAGEMENT THROUGH MYTHOLOGY“. In the evening the program started with lighting of lamp by chief guest. We were obliged to have Mr. Rajendra Deshpande – Joint MD – Kirloskar Oil Engine Ltd. as our chief guest, Mr. Suresh Pratap Shinde Joint secretary AISSM Society and our Officiating Director Dr. Sanjay Patankar AISSMS Institute of Management were the other dignitaries present at the occasion.

The chief guest inspired all the students with his valuable speech. As per our Indian culture the performance evening started by Ganesh Vandana. Then it was followed by the competitions of solo singing, group songs, solo dance, group dance and drama. At the end the result were announced for the winners and runner ups. The prize distribution for the winners & runner-ups of sports day, academic events and cultural event were distributed by the Chief Guest and the Joint Secretary AISSM Society. Vote of thanks was given by Prof. Sunil Chougule. There was lot of zeal and enthusiasm showed by the students. The overall event was enjoyed and well coordinated by the students, faculties and coordinators of AISSMS Institute Of Management.
