Program: Parent’s Meet

At AISSMS Institute of Management ‘Parents Meet-2018’ was organized on 26th October, 2018. The main purpose of the Parents Meet was to have interaction between parents and faculties about the attendance and academic and overall performance of the students.
The program started at 2:00 pm with the registration of parents and the students and high tea. The program was inaugurated by the lamp lighting by the AISSMS IOM Director, faculty members and Parents Representatives. Director, Dr. Abhijit Mancharkar addressed the gathering. In his welcome speech, he emphasized on the importance of consistent attendance of students and the role of parents in the overall development of their wards.
The program was followed by the presentation by Dr. Pooja Upadhyay. She highlighted on Academics of the institute and on the initiatives taken by the institute for the all-round development and growth of the students. AISSMS IOM Placement Officer Dr. Mayur Punde shared the information with parents about placement records and initiatives through the presentation. Dr. Bhagyashri Kanhere highlighted on Extracurricular, Co-curricular and various other extension activities.
Later the parents were asked to express their views and ask queries. Mr. Gaji expressed his views and appreciated the different initiatives taken by the institute in the interest of the students. The Meet was concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Bhalchandra Bite.
The program was concluded with interaction between the parent and the faculty members. The parents discussed about their ward’s performance and progress with the respective teacher.
